✓Certificate from the American Registry of Radiological Technology to include mammography
✓CPR license to be renewed every two (2) years
Education
✓High school diploma or GED
Qualifications
✓Minimum one (1) year experience in Diagnostic Radiology (or two (2) years at VM as a student tech)
✓Twenty-four (24) hours of continuing medical education are required every two (2) years
✓Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
✓Thorough understanding of anatomy and physiology
✓Strong organizational skills
✓A willingness to grow with technological changes occurring in the field
✓The ability to manage stressful situations appropriately, attend to multiple tasks, work independently and be versatile and flexible
Two (2) years of experience in mammography preferred
