Certifications
✓Initiates basic life support action when necessary.
✓ARRT Radiography registration required
✓ARRT Mammography certification required (or must be obtained within two years of hire)
✓Bone Densitometry Certification preferred but not required
✓IEMA-DNS radiography accreditation required if working in Illinois
✓Approved CPR or BLS certification required with in 90 days
Education
✓Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
Qualifications
✓Passing the Driver’s License Check and/or Credit Check (for those positions requiring).
✓Passing the WI Caregiver Background Check and/or IL Health Care Workers Background Check.
✓Must be able to follow written/oral instructions.
✓Language Skills
✓Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
✓Mathematical Skills
✓Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
✓Reasoning Ability
✓Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
✓Computer Skills
Radiographer experience preferred.
Mammographer experience preferred.
