and Responsibilities As our Radiologic Mammography Technologist with Dignity Health Medical Foundation, now part of CommonSpirit Health, you will perform mammographic imaging procedures in our outpatient clinics. Every day you will assist in preparing patients for Radiologic/Mammography examinations and relay instructions from the radiologist, help capture usable diagnostic images from patients so the Radiologist can accurately diagnose and/or rule out different conditions, and collect patient data, documenting patient concerns, patient messages, and care provided in the patient's medical record for the Radiologist’s review.
You will also troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures. You may be required to occasionally work at other locations within the Greater Sacramento Area as needed. Satisfactory completion of a formal AMA school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent to an AMA Technologic program Completion of 40 hours of structured education in Mammography.
Must be licensed by the State of California in CRT & Mammography Candidates in the process of obtaining CA licensure may be considered, however CA license must be verified prior to start date.
