The manager of Ambulance Services supervises and directs all field personnel in accordance with MaineHealth EMS and state protocols. This position will serve as an integral member of the MaineHealth EMS Leadership Team, with system-level responsibility for advancing operational excellence, strategic priorities, and organizational performance across the EMS system. Responsible for ensuring that emergency service and routine transfer work is completed in a safe and efficient manner.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Clinical education for paramedic licensure required. Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred License/Certifications: Current state licensure as Paramedic required. Valid Maine Driver’s license.
Active Maine EMS license: Paramedic level preferred. AVOC/EVOC required within six months of employment, IS100/700, IS200,IS300,IS400,IS703,IS704
Minimum of five (5) years of clinical experience as an EMS provider. Leadership experience preferred. The base range is an estimate and does not reflect the full value of our total compensation package. The pay range for this position is $83,324.80 to $112,736.00 per year. Compensation for part-time positions is determined on a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
