Manager - Ambulatory Float Team

✓Requirements
Education
✓Working knowledge of University policies and procedures to appropriately manage risk management and personnel
Qualifications
✓Ability to write analytical and administrative reports and correspondence, which are clear, concise, logical and appropriate for a variety of audiences
✓Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
✓Working knowledge of research-oriented patient care systems
✓Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in work production
✓Strong analytical, problem solving, critical thinking, and organizational skills
✓Ability to handle ambiguity in a fast-paced environment with multiple concurrent tasks and changing priorities
✓Minimum 1 year managerial experience
✓Demonstrated experience and knowledge working with Ambulatory Nursing, Safety, Security, Skills Management Team, HR, and others on training all employees on necessary skills for role
✓Demonstrate the ability to be flexible, adaptable, accessible, and team-oriented.
✓Systematic way to optimize efficiency and minimize duplication effort
✓Writing skills to prepare accurate and concise reports and memorandums that clearly convey information utilizing appropriate vocabulary and grammar

About the role

Under the supervision of the Director of Ambulatory Services for the Faculty Practice Group, the Ambulatory Float Team Manager is responsible for the overall management and daily operations of the Ambulatory Float Team. This team includes float RNs, LVNs, MAs, and administrative staff.
