You’ll need
Licensure
✓Successful sponsorship will require state licensure and completion of the VisaScreen or equivalent certification.
✓Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
✓Additional state licensure(s) and/or specialty certification/training as required by the work area.
Certifications
✓License or Certification (Must obtain prior to start date):
✓BLS (Basic Life Support) must be valid for 90 days post start date
✓acceptable certifications include: American Heart Association (AHA)/ Heartcode® BLS, Military Training Network, Red Cross (CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers).
Education
✓Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate, master’s, or doctorate nursing program.
Master’s or doctorate preferred.
Preferred Education: Graduate of an Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accredited master’s in nursing or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program.
Qualifications
✓Minimum of three years of nursing practice or progressive leadership experience required.
✓Minimum of three years of psychiatric nursing experience.
✓Demonstrated experience supporting clinical operations, patient access, care coordination, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
✓Knowledge of ambulatory nursing workflows, including patient triage, medication management, care coordination, and patient and family education.
✓Strong communication, relationship-building, and change leadership skills.
✓Commitment to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and psychologically safe environment for patients, families, and staff.
✓Demonstrated leadership ability and interpersonal effectiveness required.
✓As a condition of employment, individuals working with addictions services must be free from problematic substance use for a minimum of the immediately preceding two years at time of hire.
✓Internal applicants should attach their three most recent performance appraisals.
Previous leadership experience preferred, including experience as a Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, Nursing Supervisor, Team Lead, Charge Nurse, or other formal nursing leadership role.
Experience in ambulatory psychiatry, behavioral health, addiction services, procedural psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, or intensive outpatient settings preferred.
Experience in the department's specialty preferred.
Management experience preferred.
