You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current pharmacist licensure required.
✓Must be eligible for licensure to practice pharmacy in Wisconsin.
Board of Pharmacy Specialties certification highly preferred.
Certifications
Licensure in other states such as Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan, and/or Illinois preferred.
Education
✓Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy required. Master’s degree in pharmacy administration, healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field highly preferred.
Qualifications
✓Ability to obtain additional licensure as needed.
✓Minimum 3-5 years progressive leadership experience with at least 1-2 years in an infusion, oncology, sterile compounding, or comparable IV therapy environment required.
✓Knowledge of USP 797/800 sterile compounding standards required.
✓Familiarity with ASHP guidelines, Joint Commission standards, and state board requirements required.
PGY1/PGY2 Health System Pharmacy Administration & Leadership Residency, or equivalent experience highly preferred.
Experience with chemotherapy, biologic infusion therapy, and/or oncology infusion services desired. preferred
Proficiency with pharmacy information systems, automated dispensing, and medication-use technology such as Epic Willow, Pyxis, or comparable systems desired. preferred
Demonstrated quality improvement, medication safety, or process redesign experience desired. preferred

About the role
The Manager, Infusion Pharmacy is a clinical and operational leader responsible for the day-to-day management of infusion pharmacy services, including sterile compounding, IV therapy management, home infusion medication-use processes, regulatory compliance, staff supervision, resource management, and coordination of patient care.
