Performs other duties as assigned. Manages and administers assigned care units to ensure delivery of quality care. Recruits, interviews, selects, and hires team members to maintain adequate coverage.

Administers and interprets personnel policies and procedures, including wage and salary. Ensures appropriate orientation and training of new personnel. Counsels team members for disciplinary and exemplary actions according to policy.

Submits and manages schedules to ensure appropriate department coverage. Assesses staffing needs and collaborates to meet staffing standards consistently. Utilizes clinical expertise and leadership skills to ensure efficient unit operations.

Implements the Quality Improvement plan in collaboration with department leadership. Manages fiscal responsibilities to control costs within budgetary guidelines. Participates in the development of new programs and services to improve department offerings.
