✓Current licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Washington State Board of Nursing
Certifications
✓BLS certification
✓CNOR certification
Specialty certification (e.g preferred
CNOR, Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse [CPAN], Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse [CAPN preferred
Education
✓BSN
BSN or Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred
Qualifications
✓Ability to understand financial and/or operational reports, analyze data, identify improvement opportunities and implement effective responses
✓Ability to identify compliance deficiencies and/or systemic weaknesses and implement timely corrective action to forestall or remedy
✓Ability to keep abreast of current and changing laws and regulatory standards and their impact on operations and services/activities
✓Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, interpret requirements and draw valid conclusions
✓Ability to express ideas and convey information effectively in verbal and written communication
✓Ability to develop and implement effective policies, standards and procedures relating to matters under defined scope of responsibility
✓Ability to work effectively in stressful situations, and appropriately prioritize multiple and conflicting priorities/demands
✓Ability to demonstrate effective leadership skills, including the ability to serve as role model, initiator in problem-solving, decision-making, delegating, and communicating of ideas and information
✓Ability to maintain flexibility, cooperation, and participate in cross-organizational performance improvement activities
✓Ability to use office equipment and automated systems/applications/software at an acceptable level
✓Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as required by the duties of the position
