Manager Facility Based Accounts Receivable (Medicare , Medicaid & Medicaid MMA Teams)

The Manager of Facility Based Accounts Receivable (AR) is responsible for leading all aspects of payer-specific hospital accounts receivable operations to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement for services rendered. This position oversees designated payer portfolios and provides direct leadership to Accounts Receivable Supervisors responsible for daily follow-up operations. The Manager develops strategic initiatives to improve cash collections, reduce AR days, minimize denials, and optimize reimbursement while ensuring compliance with federal, state, payer, and organizational requirements.

Working collaboratively with Revenue Cycle leadership, Patient Financial Services, Patient Access, Health Information Management, Coding, Clinical Departments, Contracting, Compliance, and Information Technology, the Manager drives operational excellence through data analysis, performance management, process improvement, and staff development. Requirements

Associate’s degree in business administration or related field required. Four (4) years of qualifying experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

A minimum of 4 years’ experience in large multi-campus health systems with extensive knowledge of all revenue cycle functions, compliance and healthcare regulations. Two years’ management experience required. Epic experience required.

Certification: Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP-I) or Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) from the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) is required within 1 year of hire if associate degree not obtained. License: N/A Other: US:FL:Cape Coral
