You’ll need
Licensure
✓Current licensure to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State.
Certifications
✓Successful completion of BLS course required.
✓ACLS certification required.
PALS and NALS certification preferred
Education
✓Bachelor of Science from an accredited school of Professional Nursing required.
✓Consideration will be given to individuals currently enrolled in a BSN program but must graduate within three (3) years of date in position.
Qualifications
✓Requires the ability for complex decision-making processes requiring independent judgment and critical thinking.
✓Able to react and perform under stress and emergency situations.
✓Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Progressive experience in Nursing to include two (2) years as Staff Nurse and two (2) years in supervisory capacity with demonstrated leadership skills preferred.
