Manages the day-to-day activities of Learning and Organizational Development programs. Manages and identifies training solutions for all employees and creates training initiatives. Job Responsibility Provides leadership to Learning and Organizational Development team members and supervisors by communicating and guiding toward achieving department objectives.
Tracks budgets, negotiate contracts, build and maintain relationships with third-party training providers. Develops, communicates, and builds consensus for goals in alignment with the health system. Selects, develops, manages and evaluates direct reports; ensures performance appraisals are completed in a timely fashion.
Manages the day-to-day activities of the education programs for a particular department. Ensures that the learning management systems and content providers are identified and configured. Collaborates with third party vendors to support, configure and manage systems.
Designs training and skill development programs that are aligned with the health system’s objectives; collaborate with various business units and leaders to define specific training requirements. Assesses the success of the development plans and modify where necessary; acts as the principal point of contact for anyone with questions about training and development. Performs related duties as required.
