As the Manager for Nutrition Care, you will: Collaborate with department and organizational leadership to promote and ensure the safe and effective provision of infant and pediatric feedings Direct the supervision of operations of the Lab Develops, implements and evaluates technician training and competency Maintain appropriate/adequate staffing and monitors productivity Manage inventory and formulary within budget constraints Monitor adherence to policies and procedures for the department and ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies and state and local law Perform audits, maintains and evaluates department QAPI plan.
Addresses quality assurance issues Serve as a subject matter expert for the electronic breast milk and formula management system Accomplish human resources management objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling and disciplining employees Communicate job expectations; plan, monitor, appraise, and review job contributions Manage payroll records and costs What you'll bring: Bachelor's Degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field 7+ years of related experience in a healthcare or nutrition services setting One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of required work experience or one year of relevant professional-level work experience may be substituted for one year of required education Credential as a Registered Dietitian (RD) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed as a Dietitian-Nutritionist (LDN) per respective state’s licensing statutes and regulation Ability to navigate rapidly changing situations, from evolving patient needs to technological advancements, by remaining flexible, continuously learning, embracing new challenges, and quickly recovering from setbacks Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy ANHI Milk and Formula Technician Training Series upon hire Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ Human Milk and Formula Technician Training Certification upon hire Salary Range: Minimum 30.64/hour - Maximum 49.02/hour.
Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
