Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) preferred.
Education
✓The level of knowledge of engineering, construction, business, and/or facilities maintenance normally acquired in a four-year bachelor’s degree program in architectural, electrical or mechanical engineering or construction management.
Qualifications
✓Working knowledge of computers, CMMS, and management software used to effectively manage and document installation, preventive maintenance and repairs in a safe and timely manner.
✓Knowledge of federal, state and local building and construction codes.
✓Knowledge of CMS, TJC, The Life Safety Code and all associated NFPA guidelines.
✓EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 3-5 years previous related experience in related field.
✓Interpersonal experience to effectively interact with all levels of hospital personnel and outside contractors and consultants.
✓INDEPENDENT ACTION: Performs independently within the department’s policies and practices.
✓Refers specific complex problems to the supervisor when clarification of the departmental policies and procedures are required.
✓SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: Manage the workload and development of (3) Supervisors as well as outside vendors.
