The Manager of Infection Prevention and Accreditation provides leadership for the hospital's Infection Prevention and Accreditation Readiness Programs, promoting a culture of safety, regulatory compliance, continuous readiness, and performance improvement. This role is responsible for the oversight of infection prevention, accreditation, and related compliance programs, ensuring alignment with CMS Conditions of Participation, accreditation standards, public health requirements, and organizational strategic priorities.
In partnership with leaders, providers, and interdisciplinary teams, the Manager provides expertise, consultation, and leadership to reduce healthcare-associated infections, prevent transmission of infectious diseases, strengthen patient and staff safety, improve regulatory performance, maintain continuous survey readiness, support emergency preparedness initiatives, and promote a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
Position Qualifications Experience 5 years of leadership/supervisory experience in infection prevention, accreditation, clinical operations, regulatory compliance, public health, nursing, performance improvement, project management, education, or related healthcare field is required Education Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Epidemiology, Infection Prevention, Quality Management, or related healthcare field (current licensure, as applicable) is required Master's degree - preferred Preferred Certification/Licensure CIC: Certification Infection Control Completion of Incident Command System modules (ICS 100, 200, 700, 800) Green or Black Belt Lean Six Sigma Basic Life Support Total Rewards We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package designed to support your well-being and professional growth, including: Competitive
