You’ll need
Certifications
Certification in applicable regulatory, compliance and/or research area preferred (e.g., CCRP, CCRA, CCRC, CIP, RAC, CHC, CHRC, CHPC, etc.).
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
Education
✓Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Health and Human Services, Management, Public Health or other relevant healthcare field.
Advanced degree in Business, Law, Management and/or Healthcare related field preferred (e.g., MBA, JD, MHA, MS, MA, PhD).
Qualifications
✓Minimum 6 years of experience within a complex healthcare institution, and/or regulatory compliance/auditing, to include 2 years management experience.
✓Strong leadership, team building, and problem-solving skills as well as demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with multiple disciplines, i.e., physician, administrative, supervisory and allied health staff.
✓Additional skills required: Written and oral communication skills, Interpersonal skills, Problem solving skills.
✓Must be able to demonstrate leadership and project management skills.
✓Work is self-directed.
✓Must be able to demonstrate ability to take initiative, work independently, and responsibility for own decision-making.

About the role
Provides direction and oversight to compliance office personnel in the continuous monitoring for and interpretation of requirements, identification of regulatory and compliance risks, and working with leadership to identify actions necessary to reduce or eliminate identified risks.
