The Manager-SHiNE Program provides leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight for the SHiNE (San Bernardino Healthy in Nature Equity) Program. The manager is responsible for ensuring successful implementation of grant-funded outdoor equity initiatives, supervising program personnel, managing partnerships and budgets, overseeing evaluation and reporting activities, and expanding opportunities for underserved youth to access natural spaces that support physical, mental, and environmental well-being.

Bachelor's degree in related field required. Experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Minimum three years of relevant work experience required. 3-5 years’ experience in coordinating grant-funded community programs preferred.
Knowledge and
Knowledge of grant administration and compliance requirements, Outdoor Equity and youth development principles, Community engagement strategies, Program planning and evaluation methodologies, Fiscal management, Data collection, Public health promotion concepts, Organizational and university policies. Able to read; write and speak with professional quality; use computer and software programs necessary to the position (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point, Access); operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment required for the position.
