Licensure
✓Current registered nurse licensure in state of Oregon.
✓Listed on Oregon State Board of Nursing.
✓Registered Nurse (required)
Lic/Reg/Cert : Current Oregon RN license. preferred
Certifications
✓ACLS Adv Card Life Supp (required)
✓BLS Basic Life Support (required)
✓NRP Neontl Resusc Prg (required)
✓PALS Ped Adv Life Supp (required)
Education
Master’s degree in nursing, education, or other related field preferred.
Experience presenting educational programs. preferred
Qualifications
✓Five years direct clinical experience either OB or Pediatric Care. Basic computer skills (e.g., Microsoft365 applications).
✓Collaborates with other members of the health care team as required.
✓Assesses the environment to determine educational needs of patients and MCH personnel.
✓Plans and provides MCH personnel education.
✓Maintains MCH employee educational data and records as required.
✓Pursues professional growth and participates in a professional organization.
✓Administration and facilitation of HealthStream modules education with MCH staff.
✓EPIC Education
✓Analyze and assist staff with computerized charting issues.
✓Prepares for unexpected/emergent situations.
✓Accepts responsibility and provides training for care, maintenance, and operation of specified equipment.
✓Maintain a thorough knowledge of departmental and Medical center policies and procedures as they pertain to the job, including the fire and disaster plans.
✓Maintains quality and efficiency standards.
✓Maintains ability to function as a staff nurse in at least 1 of the nursing units within the department.
✓Shares Leadership ON-CALL coverage with MCH Director and Manager.
