Full Time, 8 HR Day Shift,
Performs a variety of duties in and around the buildings of the hospital complex to assist the tradesmen and other workmen in completing their tasks; repairs and maintains machinery. Performs other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Requires graduate of a vocational program having plumbing, heating, electrical and refrigeration courses or equivalent OJT equal to five years or more general maintenance mechanic work.
WORKING CONDITIONS - ADA INFORMATION Duties require considerable physical effort; constant standing, walking, lifting up to 75 pounds, with irregular periods of concentration. Considerable mental effort, ability to organize and manage in a high stress environment. Close review of work necessary to prevent equipment damage and for safety sake.
