Become the Medical Staff Credentialing Specialist you always wanted to be Processes medical staff applications for multiple hospitals correctly, completely, and timely. Ensure applications flow through required committees in a timely manner. Ensure all credentialing documents with expiration dates are current.
Maintain a database of credentialed medical staff and advanced practice professionals. Provide medical staff rosters and delineations of privileges to the appropriate hospital staff. Participate in surveys (accreditation/ regulatory) with respect to medical staff affairs.
Maintain confidentiality of all credentialing information and medical staff meetings Qualifications CPCS or CPMSM preferred. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Five year's experience in medical staff credentialing preferred.
