Licensure
Holds current certification or registration as a Medical Assistant OR Licensed Practical Nurse preferred
Certifications
✓Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program (One year program at Vocational School) and is certified or eligible for certification or registration as a Medical Assistant by an accrediting organization or association OR completion of an LPN program OR EMT certified
✓Current CPR certification

✓Enjoys working with variety of patient ages and conditions/diagnosis
✓Excellent organizational, internal, and external service excellence skills
✓Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
✓Ability to present oneself as a professional

Prior knowledge/experience in an ambulatory healthcare setting preferred

Prior knowledge/experience working with regulatory standards (e.g. CMS, Joint Commission) preferred
