GENERAL
We are seeking a reliable and patient-focused Bilingual Medical Assistant (Spanish -speaking required) to support our clinical team. This role is essential in ensuring efficient patient flow, accurate clinical documentation, and high-quality patient care, particularly for our Spanish-speaking population. These duties are to be performed in a highly confidential manner, in accordance with the mission, values and behaviors of Insight Hospital and Medical Center.
Employees are further expected to provide a high quality of care, service, and kindness toward all patients, staff, physicians, volunteers and guests. Bilingual Medical Assistant (Spanish -speaking required) Key
Room patients, obtain vital signs, and document medical history in the EMR (e.g., Cerner, Epic) Assist providers during examinations and procedures Serve as a Spanish-English Interpreter for patients during visits Coordinate patient care, including referrals, imaging, and follow-ups Manage patient communications (phone calls, messages, results) Prepare and maintain exam rooms and clinical supplies Assist with prior authorizations and insurance verification as needed Maintain compliance with HIPPA and clinical protocols
