- Graduate from a Medical Assistant program preferred, or
- Colorado LPN license in good standing preferred, or
- Pass a national Medical Assistant Certification exam preferred.
- BLS certification required by the end of conditional period. Responsibilities
- Takes patient histories, vital signs and thoroughly documents in patient chart.
- Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization.
- Assists physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals.
- Assists with scheduling of tests and treatments
- Performs selected nursing and administrative duties.
- Performs venipunctures and fingerstick phlebotomy, throat cultures, urinalysis, EKG’s, and other laboratory procedures as directed About Boulder Community Health Boulder Community Health (BCH) is a not-for-profit healthcare organization based in Boulder, Colorado, serving the Boulder County community.
