You’ll need
Certifications
✓Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)-AAMA CMA, CCMA or RMA Upon Hire (Required) And
✓BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire or within facility-specified time frame (Required)
Education
Postsecondary (Cert/Diploma/Program Grad) from an accredited medical assistant program (Preferred)
Qualifications
✓Proficiency in electronic health records (EHRs) and clinical software.
✓Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and pharmacology.
✓Ability to triage patient concerns and escalate appropriately.
✓Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
✓Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
✓Consistently professional in demeanor and appearance.
✓Attention to accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.
✓Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and reach.
✓Ability to lift and transport up to 50 pounds.
✓Must follow established safety procedures and protocols.
1+ years experience in an outpatient or physician practice setting (Preferred)
