Certifications
✓Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through an accredited certifying organization.
✓Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through an accredited certifying organization.
✓RQI Provider (BLS) within seven (7) days of hire/transfer or before providing independent patient care, whichever comes first.
Qualifications
✓Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, basic laboratory values, pharmacology, infection control practices, and HIPAA requirements preferred.
✓Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize effectively.
✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
✓Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
✓Commitment to professionalism, patient confidentiality, and exceptional patient care.
✓Ability to act with integrity, kindness, and empathy.
✓Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn additional software systems as needed.
One (1) year of experience in a medical practice setting preferred.
Medical office experience and medical terminology training preferred.
