You’ll need
Licensure
✓Active Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) license with at least one (1) year medical assistant or clinical healthcare experience
Certifications
✓Current/active Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) certification by an accredited certifying agency
✓CMA or RMA must be obtained within twelve (12) months of hire hire/start date.
✓Require Basic Life Support/CPR certification
HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate preferred
Qualifications
✓Must meet one of these 3 requirements to qualify:
✓Experienced medical assistant with minimum of one (1) year of medical assistant work experience.
✓or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of hire/transfer date.

Prefer one (1) year of clinical experience in an outpatient physician’s office practice. preferred
Prefer experience with electronic practice management and electronic health record programs. preferred
Prefer the ability to demonstrate self-direction and initiative. preferred
Prefer demonstrated knowledge of electronic practice management and electronic health records software along with skill in all Microsoft office software programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point). preferred
