Role Overview As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality and compassionate care to patients under the supervision of providers and nursing leadership. Your responsibilities will include both administrative and clinical tasks, ensuring a seamless and supportive patient experience. This role is essential in assisting providers during examinations and procedures, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of patient care.

Greet and escort patients to the exam room, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment. Obtain and record accurate medical histories from patients. Measure and document vital signs, preparing patients for examinations or procedures.
Assist providers during examinations and procedures, ensuring smooth and efficient care delivery. Perform a variety of clinical tasks related to ambulatory patient care. Travel at least once a week to another office location.
Main office is Rochester Hills, secondary locations in Southfield and Macomb What You Will Need Required Qualifications High school diploma or G. E. D. equivalent.
Graduate of a Medical Assistant program with completion of a formal clinical externship (160-hour minimum), or graduate from a Medical Assistant program without completion of a clinical externship but with a minimum one-year experience in clinical medical assisting within the past five years, or current Professionally Recognized Medical Assistant Certification with a minimum of one year of experience in clinical medical assisting, or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), or Licensed Paramedic/Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) with at least one-year clinical experience in a clinical medical setting within the past five years, or Military trained medical personnel with at least one-year clinical experience in a clinical medical setting within the past five years.
Current BLS-C upon hire or successful completion by the end of orientation.
