Medical Assistant

Assists physicians and other health care professionals with a variety of patient and site support activities to facilitate nursing care and to improve the delivery of quality patient services under the direct supervision of a licensed practitioner (M. D. or D. O).

AHCA Level II Background Required

Essential: * Tech/Trade Certification * High School Diploma or GED * Tech/Trade Certification Education specialization: Essential: * Medical Assistant * Emergency Medical Technician

Credentials: Essential: * Basic Life Support Education equivalent
