Certifications
✓Registered Medical Assistant credential within six (6) months of hire required.
Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through an accredited certifying organization. preferred
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through an accredited certifying organization. preferred
Education
✓High school diploma or equivalent required.
Qualifications
✓Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, basic laboratory values, pharmacology, infection control practices, and HIPAA requirements preferred.
✓Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize effectively.
✓Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
✓Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
✓Commitment to professionalism, patient confidentiality, and exceptional patient care.
✓Ability to act with integrity, kindness, and empathy.
✓Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn additional software systems as needed.
One (1) year of experience in a medical practice setting preferred.
