About the role

Medical Assistants (MA) in the medical office setting supports providers by delivering direct and indirect patient care in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner. The MA may assist with clinical procedures, maintains accurate documentation, and provides administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.

What you’ll do
Greet, room, and prepareGreet, room, and prepare pediatric patients for examination and treatment
Obtain and record vitalObtain and record vital signs, height, weight, pain assessments, and other relevant clinical information
Collect, verify, and updateCollect, verify, and update patient medical histories, including medication reconciliation
Assist physicians and advancedAssist physicians and advanced practice providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments
Perform basic diagnostic testingPerform basic diagnostic testing as delegated and deemed competent, including urine dipstick testing, blood glucose testing, EKGs, and specimen collection
