You’ll need
Licensure
Or graduate of an accredited LPN or RN program with current unrestricted licensure. preferred
Certifications
✓American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
✓BAT and DOT certifications within 90 days of hire for Occupational Medicine positions.
Current Medical Assistant certification through AAMA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT, or AAMP . preferred
Education
✓Whether you’re an experienced Medical Assistant or a recent graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program, you’ll have the opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
✓High school diploma or GED.
✓Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant training program that includes hands-on clinical experience.
Qualifications
✓One year of experience providing direct, hands-on patient care in a medical office, clinic, or similar healthcare setting, including duties such as:
✓Obtaining vital signs
✓Documenting patient history and medications
✓Performing clinical procedures such as EKGs, phlebotomy, or administering injections
