✓Graduate of schools for MA diploma/certificate from the military in Medical Specialist Course
✓2) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association
Education
✓1) Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or alternate training program through one of the following:
Qualifications
✓Oral and written and interpersonal communication skills. Organizational and problem-solving skills. Must be able to handle multiple tasks and exercise independent judgment as needed. Must be able to handle fast-paced, stressful environment while juggling multiple priorities.
✓Previous Medical Assistant experience preferred. Bilingual preferred. Must possess appropriate knowledge for performing patient care. Computer experience preferred.

About the role

This position is responsible for general Medical Assistant duties in dealing with patients in the specialty clinics. Is responsible to maintain supplies and provide direct patient care on the patients under the supervision of office manager and/or physician. In addition, this position supports the Customer Service Representative with clerical duties such as scheduling and filing.
