You’ll need
Certifications
✓BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Current national certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) . preferred
Education
✓High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Associate’s degree . preferred
Graduate from an accredited medical assistant/medical technologist school/program. preferred
Qualifications
✓Basic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Microsoft Office knowledge .
Prior experience in a clinic or hospital setting supporting patient care preferred
