You’ll need
Licensure
✓Have a current EMT license plus at least one year of Medical Assistant or clinical healthcare experience.
Certifications
✓Have an active CMA or RMA certification through an accepted organization such as AAMA, NHA, NCCT, AMT, AAH, or NAHP.
✓Must have at least one year of Medical Assistant work experience . You may qualify without current CMA/RMA certification, but you will be required to obtain an approved CMA or RMA certification within 12 months of hire .
✓Require Basic Life Support/CPR certification
High School Diploma, GED or Certificate preferred
Accepted certifications include: CMA (AAMA), NHA, NCCT, RMA (AMT or AAH), and NRCMA (NAHP). preferred

Prefer one (1) year of clinical experience in an outpatient physician’s office practice. preferred
Prefer experience with electronic practice management and electronic health record programs. preferred
Prefer the ability to demonstrate self-direction and initiative. preferred
Prefer demonstrated knowledge of electronic practice management and electronic health records software along with skill in all Microsoft office software programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point). preferred
