With 118 beds and more than 400 physicians on its medical staff, Pali Momi Medical Center offers a full range of services for the communities of Central and West O'ahu. The hospital has delivered many medical firsts for the community, including Central and West O'ahu’s only interventional cardiac catheterization unit to detect and treat heart disease, a fully integrated minimally invasive surgical suite, a comprehensive women’s center, CT scan and MRI services, and the state’s first retina center.
Pali Momi is the only facility in Hawai'i that uses a team triage approach in its emergency room, where patients are promptly evaluated by an emergency physician. The OB/GYN department offers complete obstetrical and gynecological care for women and is one of the most comprehensive centers for women’s health in Hawai‘i. Services include obstetrical care, pre-pregnancy counseling, medical, dietary and social service counseling, pregnancy testing, prenatal and high-risk prenatal care, counseling and postpartum follow-up care, referral services, infertility diagnostics and treatment, family planning, annual physical exams and pap smears, testing and treatment for sexually transmitted diseases, birth control methods, routine gynecological exams, evaluation for and scheduling of gynecologic surgeries, cyst biopsy and removal, nutrition counseling, and endocrine and teen clinics, among others.
As a Medical Assistant in our OBGYN department you will form part of the dedicated team of physicians and medical staff that provide caring, thorough health services to our patients and their families. In this role, you will perform a wide variety of patient care activities to clients of all ages.
