H. S. Diploma/GED (Required), Responsibilities Perform a variety of routine direct patient care duties to assist medical and nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients.
Maintains patient care environment and supplies to ensure patient privacy and safety. Provides Patient Care: Accurately measures and records height, weight vital signs (temp, pulse, respiration, BP). Completes medication reconciliation.
Assists providers with procedures and treatment. Performs audiometry, spirometry, respiratory mask fits, EKGs and phlebotomy. Performs ear washes and dressing changes.
Performs drug and alcohol testing according to state and federal guidelines. Ensures documentation of care is complete and accurate. Provides support to nursing staff.
Maintains Patient Care Environment: Orders, receives and stores supplies. Cleans and stocks exam rooms and procedure rooms. Maintain par level of supplies.
Maintain Expiration Log of supplies and medications.
