✓Completion of an accredited Medical Office Assistant program that qualifies you to sit for the MOA certification exam, or
✓Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C) credential, or
✓Current Washington State Medical Assistant-Interim Certified credential with ability to obtain full MA-C certification within 12 months of issuance.
✓Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, obtained by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
National Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential preferred.
Education

About the role

As a Medical Assistant in our Pain Management clinic, you'll play an important role in helping patients feel informed, supported, and prepared throughout their care.

What you’ll do
Welcome patients and prepareWelcome patients and prepare them for their visit
Obtain and document vitalObtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and current concerns
Assist providers during examinationsAssist providers during examinations and procedures
Administer injections and medicationsAdminister injections and medications as ordered
Apply dressings, splints, andApply dressings, splints, and provide basic wound care as directed
