Day Hours: 8 hour shifts Recruiter Contact: Carlee Maiman at clewis9@pennstatehealth.psu.edu SUMMARY OF POSITION: Responsible for providing assistance with various health care services, for obtaining specimens, for conducting routine lab studies of specimens, and for assisting with administrative functions such as coordinating patient flow and scheduling appointments and phone messages. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S): High School Diploma or GED required Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.
Medical Assistants must become certified within 90 days of hire OR a Credentialed MA (Certified/Registered) Basic Life Support Certification Required or must obtain BLS Certification within 6 months of employment date PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S): Associates Degree or equivalent Outpatient experience WHY PENN STATE HEALTH?
