and Responsibilities As our Medical Assistant, you will help the physician and patients by preparing patients for examinations and assisting with various medical procedures so they can receive high-quality, efficient, and compassionate healthcare. Every day you will perform limited diagnostic lab tests, EKGs, and stress tests, administer injections and immunizations, and assist with quality improvement studies. You will be expected to facilitate and document patient/medical records, and perform other essential clinic duties as assigned.
To be successful in this role you must demonstrate skills in vital signs and measurements, possess knowledge of sterile technique and infectious waste handling, excel at teamwork and communication, and maintain a high level of concentration and attention to detail.
