✓Requirements
Licensure
✓Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Certifications
✓Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at time of hire
✓Certification must be obtained through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
✓Hold an approved Medical Assistant certification, or
✓Obtain certification within twelve (12) months of hire
✓Candidates may be considered without a Medical Assistant certification at the time of hire if they possess:
✓Additional Accepted Credentials
✓The following credentials may be accepted in lieu of a Medical Assistant certification:
✓Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
Education
✓High School Diploma or equivalent required
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred
Qualifications
✓Minimum of 1 year of Medical Assistant experience required
✓Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
✓Ability and willingness to float between assigned centers within the market
✓Candidates with fewer than three (3) years of Medical Assistant experience must:
✓Three (3) or more years of Medical Assistant experience, and
✓One (1) or more years of experience in an Urgent Care, Emergency Department, or Hospital setting
✓Registered Nurse (RN)
✓Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
✓CPOE (Computerized Provider Order Entry) certification must be obtained within two (2) weeks of the start date
