Willis-Knighton Health System is seeking a Medical Assistant. The MA will provide care to patients in the physician offices under the supervision of the Clinic Physician. The
include, but are not limited to the following: assess the health status of patients and collaborate with the nursing staff and physician to establish care procedures; contribute to the planning of appropriate nursing interventions; medication administration for oral, intramuscular, subcutaneous, or intradermal; assist patients with activities of daily living; document patient assessment; communicate pertinent information regarding patient condition to other members of the health care team; and provide information to patient/family regarding disease process or diagnostic procedures.
