✓Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Education
✓High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Qualifications
✓Two (2) years of work experience in lieu of the educational requirement.
✓Knowledge of general medical terminology, clinical procedures, and outpatient healthcare operations.
✓Understanding of hospital policies, Joint Commission standards, HIPAA regulations, and patient confidentiality requirements.
✓Ability to accurately maintain patient medical records and clinical documentation.
✓Proficiency in electronic medical records, basic computer applications, and data entry.
