Education
✓High School Diploma / GED Required Licensure/Certification: BLS
Qualifications
✓PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES • Takes direction for all patient care activities from a registered professional nurse.
✓Takes ownership in patient safety outcomes.• Checks daily for presence of an identification band on each patient
✓replaces them as needed. • Administers personal care of patients (bed making, bath, foot care, oral hygiene, skin care, back care, shaving men) and documents care given.• Feeds or assists patients with meals.
✓Reports eating patterns to the clinical nurse.
✓Takes and reports to the clinical nurse patients' blood pressure, temperature, pain level, respiration, pulse rate, oxygen saturation level, and weight.
✓Measures and reports to nurse p.o. fluid intake and output.• Collects routine specimens, such as urine, stool, and sputum (not from suctioning).• Performs and correctly labels a 12-Lead EKG.
