Assists in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician. Interviews patients, measures vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and records information on patients' charts. May be required to draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks.
Typically reports to supervisor or manager. Requires California MA Certificate. Graduation from an accredited MA Program, Must have 1 -2 years of Ortho experience Ortho experience preferred Wage Range: $21.00/hr - $23.00/hr Education Technical/other training (preferred) High School (required) Licenses and Certifications C-WA-Medical Assist (preferred) Experience preferred to have 1 -2 years of Ortho experience (required)
