Baptist Health is currently looking for a Medical Laboratory Assistant II to join our Lab Outreach team in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a PRN opportunity, working various shifts at our Baptist Free Standing Emergency Department North location. As a Medical Laboratory Assistant II, you will be responsible for: Performing a variety of clerical and technical duties associated with the pre- and post-analytical handling of laboratory specimens and results.
Communicating laboratory results and responds to specimen-related questions from physicians and various other caregivers. Collecting blood specimens for routine and special laboratory procedures. Utilizing computer functions.
Education and Certification
