Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm How you’ll make an impact in this role Execute precise blood collection and specimen processing using proper techniques to ensure patient comfort and high-quality samples for critical diagnostic testing. Manage the end-to-end specimen lifecycle—including receipt, centrifugation, and transportation—safeguarding sample integrity for accurate lab results. Maintain rigorous safety and infection control standards by sterilizing equipment and preparing testing instruments to guarantee a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Audit and resolve order discrepancies by managing pending lists and duplicate requests to keep laboratory workflows moving efficiently without delays in patient care. Streamline administrative workflows through accurate data entry, demographic collection, and phone support to ensure seamless communication between the lab and care teams. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Preferred Credential(s): ⢠BLS Provider.
American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. ⢠Certification specializing in Phlebotomy credentialed from the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC). ⢠Phlebotomy Tech. ⢠Medical Laboratory Assistant credentialed from the American Society for Clinical Pathology Board of Certification (ASCP-BOC). ⢠Medical Laboratory Assistant credentialed from the American Medical Technologists (AMT). ⢠Tech credentialed from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians.
