Medical Laboratory Scientist needed for PRN NIGHT SHIFT for the lab at Phoenixville Hospital. Hours are 10:30pm-7am with 1 weekend a month and 1 winter and 1 summer holiday required. The Medical Laboratory Scientist is responsible for obtaining or receiving specimens, performing clinical laboratory tests by standardized procedures, understanding method principles, performing quality control, performing preventive maintenance, and interpreting results accurately, acceptably and within critical limits.

The MLS works independently, organizing work to meet established deadlines and validates all data obtained. Night Shift - Hours are 10:30pm-7am with 1 weekend a month and 1 winter and 1 summer holiday required. #PHX QualificationsEducation RequirementsBachelor's degree in clinical/medical laboratory science OR a Bachelors in some other field of study AND completion of a Clinical/Medical Laboratory Science program, OR MT-HEW certification will be considered in lieu of bachelor's degreeExperiencePrefer 1 year of experienceCertification and LicensureASCP or AMT EligibleRequired SkillsComputer Skills to include use and navigationExcellent Communications SkillsMultitasking OverviewTower Health, a regional healthcare system, serves communities across multiple counties in Pennsylvania.
