• The Medical Lab Assistant I will function to provide administrative and technical support to phlebotomist, lab technicians, and management staff in the lab. Required Licensures / Certifications / Registrations N/A Physical Capabilities The work for a Laboratory Assistant may demand continuous standing, walking, frequent stooping, sitting, reaching, bending and kneeling. The Laboratory Assistant may also be required to carry items up to 50 pounds. Near visual and color acuity is required. The hours of duty may be irregular to accommodate departmental requirements. Skills and Abilities
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
