Night Make an Impact with Baystate Health Baystate Health is seeking a Medical Lab Scientist to join our Blood Bank at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield , Massachusetts . Our Blood Bank provides essential diagnostic testing that supports patient care across the organization , working closely with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality care. The Medical Lab Scientist Will: performs complex immunohematology testing, including ABO/Rh typing, antibody screening and identification, and compatibility testing.
The MLS prepares and issues blood products, investigates transfusion reactions, performs specialized testing, and provides critical transfusion support to ensure the safe and timely delivery of blood products to patients. Schedule Details Job Type: Full time- 36 hours
