To analyze biologic specimens of human origin in order to quantify or qualify clinically relevant properties. To integrate and transmit information so derived in an effort to assist in the diagnosis or monitoring of human disease. Work assignments are generally not given project-by-project; rather, a moderately wide range and variety of work activities and processes are required to bring assignments to completion.

Bachelor's Degree Upon hire: National Medical Technologist - American Society for Clinical Pathology, or National Medical Technologist - American Medical Technologists, or National Medical Technologist - American Association of Bioanalysts, Or National Medical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology, Or National Clinical Laboratory Scientist - American Society for Clinical Pathology, Or National Laboratory Tech - United States Government Sufficient experience to enable the employee to work effectively in commonplace work situations and to provide working knowledge of the principles, practices, standards, methods, and techniques of laboratory medicine. 1 year of Medical technology internship.
